This chateau is located in a small and quiet village, close to the church dated from the same period.
Rouen is 35 km away and Paris is 145 km away from the property and are easily reachable by the road and the A13 motorway. The main shops and services are 4 km away.
This chateau was originally build at the Middle Age, as a quadrilateral quartered with round towers. The chateau has been attacked several times, occupied once by the English in 1418 and modernised in 1786 to give it his final aspect. It certainly suffered a fire in 1910 which partially damaged it and it has been abandoned until 2008. It remains today only two Middle Age ?s vaulted cellars and two towers dated from the XVth century.
The limestone and flint rear facade has collapsed and the vegetation has developed inside the building. The brick and stone front facade shows two different periods of construction : Renaissance on the left part and Louis Xvi on the right part and the centre in 1786.
In 2008, when he was threatened with demolition, passionate people struggled to buy it. From that time, a major restoration started.
Current restoration :
Protected from weather with a steel sheet roofing and after having getting rid of the invasive vegetation, the building have been saved from the destruction.
The owners are doing all the works themselves. They restore the facades, the towers, the windows and a part of the interior.
It remains several original features : stone staircase, large stone fireplace, vaulted guardrooms, diamond-shaped pillars ...
A large numbers of stones and other original elements are stocked on site for restoration use.

The land of about 15 acres is composed a fully enclosed hedge site. A the entrance on the left hand side of the chateau stands up a superb cedar of Japan. On the right hand side there is a pond surrounding by willows. In the 2010' s, the land has been entirely cleared and planted in alleys or in bunch with numerous types of trees, to give its current appearance.
A charming orchard gives a lots of fruits (plums, apples ...).
Around the chateau remains the vestiges of the past, the chateau outer wall, the base of some fortified walls ...
