The house is designed as a single-storey house on a plinth built around a central core grouping together the bathrooms and the kitchen. The slight interior curves and the striated aluminium fronts are all elements that recall the designer's signature.

The entrance is at the rear of the house via a stone path leading to the corridors leading to the living room on the one hand and the night area on the other. Equipped with numerous openings, the living space offers an exceptional view of the wooded heights of the Vosges. It is decorated with a cast iron fireplace made by a local craftsman and dating from the construction of the house.

With its original furniture, the kitchen offers a real plunge into the atmosphere of the sixties. A bathroom and a shower room complete the central domestic block.

The night area is composed of three bedrooms whose volumes evoke resting cabins. Two additional bedrooms, a shower room, a storeroom and a workshop are located on the lower level below.

Beyond being a place to live, this building, classified as a Historic Monument, is a true piece of modern architectural history. The originality of its design bears witness to the close links between design and architecture and reflects the philosophy of Jean Prouvé, who said: 'There is no difference between the construction of a piece of furniture and that of a house. »
