We bought this house 14 years ago. We chose it for several reasons: a pleasant living space, a beautiful swimming pool, a studio (ideal for guests or as an office), a furnished loft, a garage, a large plot and a breathtaking view of the south from the balcony. It has a private fenced swimming pool with a pool house, two cabins, a greenhouse, a herb garden and cherry, fig, oak and olive trees.
In the heart of the countryside, with only a few (very friendly) neighbours, the house is peaceful, sunny and surrounded by forests. There are paths where we can walk our dogs, there are vineyards and lavender fields and all the colors of Provence to enjoy.
The main living space consists of a living room and an open-plan kitchen equipped with an oven, induction hob, fridge-freezer and washer-dryer. There are 2 bedrooms (one of which is used as an office), a shower room with toilet and, of course, the balcony. The attic has two rooms with electric radiators (both with pitched roofs), the larger room is a good usable space, the smaller one is more suitable for storage (but was used as a bedroom!). The studio has independent access and its own bathroom with toilet.
Heating is provided by a reversible air conditioning system, a wood stove and (although we do not use it) oil central heating.
The large swimming pool (new liner in 2020) has a pool house (with electricity) that we use as a gym. It is a beautiful space of relaxation, private and without vis-à-vis.
The property is just over 2 kilometres from the village of Saint Antonin, which has a small shop, bakery, hotel with restaurant and bar, school and post office. Larger supermarkets, restaurants, etc. Are located in the nearby towns of Lorgues, Carces or Salernes.
Internet connection is fiber.
