Property summary
Two watermills with converted mill buildings set in woodlands and meadows
The property is set over 2.5 hectares. There is more land adjacent making a total of 10 hectares. It was previously a watermill, but was converted in the eighties to holiday accommodation.
There are five buildings : Le Moulin, La Grange, La Maison, La Mouline and finally Le Pigeonnier. The buildings are set around a courtyard with the exception of La Mouline which is on its own island.
There are six gites in total.
The source of the Lantouy is in some woods about twenty minutes walk from the Mill through woodland. It is a stunning place, as is the surrounding countryside. In the old days, the Lantouy powered the Mill. Much of the mechanism is within the grounds of the property still. The Lantouy flows into the Lot river at the end of one of the meadows.
We are selling the Mill as we currently run it. This includes our website, existing bookings and everything in the gites except for a few personal items. So the price includes furniture, bedding, kitchen equipment, gardening equipment ( including a tractor mower ), tools.... It is literally a walk-in opportunity.
For somebody, The Mill is a dream. In truth we do not want to sell the Mill, but our other projects have made us realise we cannot do everything justice.
If you love nature, and if you love water, you will love the Mill. It has been life changing for us !!
