The chateau is situated in the Mayenne department, about 161miles West from Paris by motorway. Paris is 1h15 away by train. The chateau is situated in a nice hilly countryside close to a small village with shops and services, health services as well.

The history of this important seigneury dates back from the 12th century. The buildings, as we see them today, date back from the 17th and 19th century. The large dovecote tower dates from the 16th century.

The chateau comprises :
On the ground floor: vestibule, important stairway, 2 sitting rooms, dining room, kitchen, the former kitchen used as sitting room, laundry and toilet. The reception rooms present several decorative period features from the 18th century (fireplaces, woodwork, and doors) and a remarkable quality of decoration and finishing.
