A 19th century mansion and its 3-hectare grounds In a lively village near Sablé-sur-Sarthe. From the village, a green gate in the surrounding wall opens into large grounds, dotted with hundred-year-old trees, from which the eastern façade of the manor can be seen. A drive leads up to the northern side of the building on which the entrance door, topped by an awning, can be found. Below the entrance there is a stoop with two flights of steps. From a dominant, south-facing position, the edifice boasts uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside. The hipped roof, with a zinc deck and topped by a ridge cap, is dotted with triangular and bullseye dormers. The façades are made of rendered stone and boast a sculpted frieze. The many window frames, quoins and tall chimney stacks are made of stone or brick. The entire building possesses a granite sleeper wall. The southern façade boasts a patio along its full width, bordered by a period balustrade, and overlooks the grounds, which can be reached by a flight of steps. The façade is flanked by a subtle avant-corps topped by a balcony.
On the first floor, each room has a balcony. To the rear of the manor, a former fruit store has been converted into a habitable outbuilding. There is also a well near to the building. Furthermore, the property boasts two rather unique guest accommodation dwellings not visible from the manor: one is a wooden hut hidden in the branches of the tall trees, while the other is an old wooden caravan. Lastly, near to the entrance gate, there is a garage with capacity for four cars.
