In Courlay in the Deux Sevres, Nouvelle Aquitaine – in the Micro climate which boasts the 2nd sunniest region in France to that of the Cote D’Azur. The nearest Village is La Foret sur Sevres (3 minutes) which has Restaurants, bars, cafes, Chemist, Post Office, Garage (for mechanics), Hairdresser and a beautiful Chateau. There is also a school for youngsters and 2 Doctors.
The location is very close to the Town of Bressuire (20 minutes). There are Schools to suit all ages (Public and Private) including a College and a new College is being built which will be completed this year. A new Hospital opened in 2018, this includes an Accident and Emergency Department. There are also many General Practitioners and Laboratories for Blood Tests, etc. And X-Ray Units locally.
Bressuire has two markets each week in the Centre – Tuesday and Saturday where local Farmers sell their produce, there are Fresh Fish, Butchers and Cheese Counters plus much more.
