The origin of this fiefdom, located in Bourbon land, dates back to the twelfth century. In the 14th century, it belonged to Marguerite de Bourbon, great-granddaughter of Saint Louis. Passing to several powerful families, it was bought in 1877 by Pierre-Hector Aubergier whose son, with the help of the architect Camus, led a major restoration of the castle in 1884 and then of the outbuildings in 1932. Accessible by a beautiful bridleway planted with chestnut trees, the estate includes the castle located in a dominant position, outbuildings, two annex houses and a caretaker's house, an imposing 16th century Ismh dovecote, an 18-hectare landscaped park with a beautiful pond of 9,630 m².
