In an unspoiled area of the Charente on soft-rolling green hills lies this tiny cottage enclosed by a cluster of large barns (see photos of the cardboard model) in the delightful hamlet of ‘le Marmon’.

The N10 highway Paris-Bordeaux and the E603 to Limoges are only 20 minutes away. Verteuil, Nanteuil en Vallee, Ruffec, La Rochefoucauld, Chasseneuil, Mansle, Saint Claud and Confolens are on less than a 25 minutes drive. The Tgv station at 45 min will open next year. There are nearby airports in Poitiers, Limoges and Bordeaux.
The surrounding area is ideal for walking and cycling holidays and gives you chance to discover the local nature and rural architecture.
For the astrologist, the nightly sky shows the stars in all their glory in this unspoiled region.
This is a rare property because of its situation and the quality and size of its buildings in relation to the price. It is not for the faint hearted, because of the fact that the living quarters have to be renovated completely. But after the investment of time and some money you will find yourself in an incomparable place which leaves other people with their mouths agape.
