In a narrow street reserved for a few residents, opposite a small tree-lined square with no inhabited dwellings, the residence reveals two façades, separated by a wide wrought-iron gate framed by two tall pillars. On one side sits an independent two-storey dwelling. On the other, sheltered by a small façade garden, stands the main house. The ground-floor bays are set back, out of reach of passers-by. A door provides initial access to the dwelling, which extends to about 300 m2 over four levels, including a basement. The gate opens onto a paved driveway that runs along the outbuildings and leads to the rear of the main house. This latter comprises a central body, covered by a four-pitched roof of flat tiles and a wing in continuity, topped with a zinc roof, raised two levels over a basement. The north-west facing façade, plastered in ochre tones, is structured by angle quoins and stone-framed windows. In the middle of the central body, a veranda overlooks two steps that lead to the main entrance, framed by tall windows with large panes. The ground floor houses reception rooms and the kitchen. A three-quarters turning wooden staircase with ramped balustrades leads to the first floor, where there are five bedrooms and five bathrooms or washrooms. The ornaments and other period elements, such as parquet floors, fireplaces, woodwork and wall cupboards, are numerous and well maintained. Ceiling height is over 3.50 m in almost all rooms. Finally, a service staircase opens onto the attic level, where there are two small rooms, a toilet, and a loft space. The outbuildings, separated from the main house by the access drive, form a long half-timbered building topped by a Mansard-style tiled roof. It comprises the independent dwelling accessible from the street and several storerooms in sequence: former stables, ash loft, paved garage... The 2.5-hectare English-style park, entirely enclosed and richly wooded, extends back from the house, away from prying eyes.
